Early All-Star Game roster projections

The 79th midsummer classic - the All-Star Game - heads back to Yankee Stadium.   This is the last year of the stadium as we know it before the new one opens in 2009.  Yankee Stadium has hosted three previous all star games (1939, 1960 and 1977) and the NL has the advantage 2-1.  Is it time for the NL to take back All-Star crown?  The AL won 10 of the past 11 All-Star games so it's about time the NL catch up.

Speaking of the All-Star Game, do you think it's time the league makes some changes to how they do things - like choose players?   Anyone have any changes to propose for picking the players on the roster, or do you like how fans vote in the starters? What about the entire week of events. . . is it too much pomp and circumstance?  Is it time to go back to the basics?  And, who in their right minds can afford these ticket prices, upwards of $700 -- Taco Bell All-Star Sunday - $50 - $225 each; Gatorade All-Star Workout Day - $100 - $650 each; 79th MLB All-Star Game - $150 - $725 each.  In my opinion, it's insane.

Either way, the All-Star game is right around the corner and fans still need to vote in their favorite players.  It's a little (or a lot) early, but here are projected AL and NL rosters:
